Clemenceau the vampire - The cartoonist shows Clemenceau as a vampire sucking the blood from a women who represents Germany. This shows Clemenceau and the treaty as too harsh, it will take the life out of Germany and crush her. The terms were too harsh such as the loss of military to only 100,000 men which left Germany feeling vulnerable. In the background there are two other bats perhaps LLoyd George and Wilson who along with France forced the Treaty of Versailles on Germany
The Big Three are shown as executioners and Germany defeated and tied up. The cartoonists is showing that the final Treaty will cause the death of Germany and that the treaty is too harsh.
The Reckoning
A British Poster showning a German who is unhappy with the treaty. However the German calims that it is only a quarter of the reperations payments that Germany would have charged Britain. The cartoonist suggests that the Treaty is too weak and that the reparations of 6600m should be far more.
